Full Private Mode, available on paid plans, encrypts your reviews, chats, comparisons, and Vault documents with a key only you hold. The key is created in your browser and never leaves it in a form we can read, so Justee stores only the encrypted version and cannot read your content back. If we were ever compelled by subpoena, we could hand over your Vault documents and the reviews, chats and comparisons you made in Full Private Mode only as unreadable ciphertext. Items made with it off, account details such as your email and plan, and timestamped activity records are not encrypted this way. Before analysis, personal identifiers in your documents are automatically replaced with codes (detection is best-effort), and requests reach our AI provider from our servers without your name, email, or account attached. This differs from many consumer AI chat apps, where the provider stores your chats in a form it can read and, depending on your settings, may use them to train models. No. Justee uses zero-access encryption, not end-to-end encryption. Zero-access encryption means your content is sealed with a key only you hold, and Justee stores only ciphertext it cannot read back. Unlike end-to-end encryption, our servers do briefly process your file in the clear to do their job, for example to analyze it for a review or comparison, and then seal the result to your key. Your Vault is the exception: Vault files are sealed in your browser and are never processed on our servers, not even to convert them for editing. We never keep a readable copy, and we hold no key that can open your stored content. It is called zero-access, not end-to-end, because of that brief processing step for reviews, and we are explicit about it.

The Encrypted Vault is private document storage included on the paid plans that list it on the pricing page. It uses the same key as Full Private Mode. Files are encrypted on your device before upload, with a key only you hold: Justee stores only the encrypted version and cannot open your files. Even opening a document or spreadsheet to edit it runs in your browser, so a Vault file is never sent to our servers in readable form, not even to convert it. Because only you hold the key, we cannot reset it. If you lose your passphrase and any recovery options you set up, your Vault files cannot be recovered, that is the point of zero-access encryption. Monthly plans are billed every month. Yearly plans are billed once a year, for the whole year up front. On both, the plan's monthly limits reset every month, counted from the moment your subscription started: if you subscribe on December 2 at 1:43 PM, your limits reset on January 2 at 1:43 PM, then on February 2, and so on. In a shorter month the reset falls on its last day. Changing to another plan starts a new month from the change.

Max File Size is the largest document you can upload per review, comparison, or PII redaction. Higher plans allow larger files.

Absolutely. You can cancel the subscription any time in your account billing settings.

One account is for one user. If your firm has 5 attorneys and 3 paralegals, you must register a separate account for each team member. At the same time, you can share the results of your compliance analysis with other team members using a unique link.

There is no regional add-on and no jurisdiction upsell: U.S. federal law, all 50 states, the District of Columbia, the five U.S. territories, and England & Wales are available at every price point. What changes between plans is volume, how many reviews, pages, and comparisons you get each month, and how many jurisdictions you can apply to a single document at once. If a contract is governed by English law, pick United Kingdom (England & Wales) when you launch the review; Scotland and Northern Ireland are separate legal systems and are not covered yet.
