Full Private Mode, available on paid plans, encrypts your reviews, chats, comparisons, and Vault documents with a key only you hold. The key is created in your browser and never leaves it in a form we can read, so Justee stores only the encrypted version and cannot read your content back. If we were ever compelled by subpoena to hand over your private data, we could provide only unreadable ciphertext. Before analysis, personal identifiers in your documents are automatically replaced with codes (detection is best-effort), and requests reach our AI provider from our servers without your name, email, or account attached. This is the real difference from using a general AI tool like ChatGPT, Gemini, or Claude directly, where your chats are stored by the provider, are readable by them, and may be used to train models. No. Justee uses zero-access encryption, not end-to-end encryption. Zero-access encryption means your content is sealed with a key only you hold, and Justee stores only ciphertext it cannot read back. Unlike end-to-end encryption, our servers do briefly process your file in the clear to do their job, for example to analyze it for a review or comparison, and then seal the result to your key. Your Vault is the exception: Vault files are sealed in your browser and are never processed on our servers, not even to convert them for editing. We never keep a readable copy, and we hold no key that can open your stored content. It is called zero-access, not end-to-end, because of that brief processing step for reviews, and we are explicit about it.

The Encrypted Vault is private document storage included with paid plans as part of Full Private Mode. Your files are sealed in your browser with a key only you hold: Justee stores only the encrypted version and cannot open your files. Everything stays on your device: even opening a document or spreadsheet to edit it runs in your browser, so a Vault file is never sent to our servers in readable form, not even to convert it. Because only you hold the key, we cannot reset it. If you lose your passphrase and any recovery options you set up, your Vault files cannot be recovered, that is the point of zero-access encryption. The period of subscription is one month. All the limits are set to one calendar month. A month initially starts at the moment of payment, and ends at the end of the same calendar day of the next month (Pacific Time Zone). For example, if a user pays on December 2nd at 13:43, the paid month will end on January 2nd at 23:59:59.

Max File Size is the largest document you can upload per review, comparison, or PII redaction. Higher plans allow larger files. Recurring Compliance Checks allow our system to automatically and recurrently check your stored documents for compliance once a month or upon changes in laws or regulations. You will receive notifications if any issues are found.

Absolutely. You can cancel the subscription any time in your account billing settings.

One account is for one user. If your firm has 5 attorneys and 3 paralegals, you must register a separate account for each team member. At the same time, you can share the results of your compliance analysis with other team members using a unique link.
